Portland Guitar Can Custom Design And Build Your Lifetime Dream Guitar.

Working together, in person, on the phone, and through e-mail, we will identify the ideal sound and the instrument's feel and playability that best suits you and your style. We will specify the features, the types of wood, and the decoration and appointments that you most desire. As your instrument is being built you can follow along on this website with the running journal of pictures and explanations. Since you will have a personal luthier you can guide and direct the details of the design as the instrument is being built and drop by the shop any time you feel the need to visit your creation in progress. Portland Guitar stands behind your instrument for as long as you own it, so you can have the confidence that you will be a satisfied customer. The price of the instrument is dependent on the degree of specification, the size of the instrument, the choice of woods, and the amount of decoration you request.

Modified Martin DM

This guitar is a standard issue lightly used 2007 Martin DM that has been modified with a split saddle bridge and a split saddle nut. The saddle height and the string height at the nut has been reset with the action lowered for ease of fingering and speed. The guitar is now optimized for intonation and action, plays exceptionally well and is as in tune as it can be... which is pretty good.

Offered for sale at $2000
